Q Which areas of the country does your site cover?
A Our site has coverage in every state. Unfortunately not all databases
are available in all states. For example: some states compile and maintain
statewide criminal indexes, while other states don't. Situations like this are
not a limitation of our site but are a limitation of availability of the
information. If you have special needs, please make sure you contact Customer
Support for a free estimate.
Q How do I obtain documents regarding a divorce?
A Divorce documents can usually be obtained from the court in which the
divorce was processed. Divorces are usually processed in a civil superior court.
Q I am researching the background on a friend I suspect
of having some type of criminal record. I really have no idea how to begin.
A When searching any type of database, the best place to start is with
verification of your search subject's name and location. This tells you how and
where to search and can alleviate unnecessary searching. If the name is spelled
incorrectly you will not find records pertaining to your subject. Verify your
subject's with information already known to you or use the Investigative People
Finder search to obtain the spelling and location of your subject.
Q How do I obtain copies of a criminal or civil court case?
A To obtain copies of a civil or criminal case you need to know the court
location and case number. This information is contained in the civil and
criminal indexes and, depending on the county, may be accessed from this site.
If you need a criminal or civil search you can't find on our site, simply
contact Customer Support and we will perform the research for you. An estimate
will be e-mailed to you before any research is performed
Q Can I run a UCC search for any state on your site?
A We do not have UCC's for every state available as an automated search but we
can search any state for you. Please contact Customer Support if you need this search.
Q Can I search marriage records for other states than the states listed on your site?
A Most states don't compile and maintain a statewide marriage index.
California maintained a statewide marriage index until 1985. After 1985
marriages were handled at the individual county level and have to be searched
accordingly. We can search for marriages by searching the individual county
recorders. Please contact Customer Support if you need this search.
